GennUp is an educational technology brand operated from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. We run live online workshops focused on AI tools and website building for beginners, students, and professionals.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "GennUp," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the team behind GennUp. "You" refers to any visitor to our website or participant in our programs.

We collect only the information necessary to operate our workshops and communicate with you effectively.

  • Adding you to the relevant WhatsApp community group for your registered program.
  • Processing your payment and resolving any billing queries.
  • Sending occasional updates about upcoming workshops or relevant educational content. You may opt out at any time.
  • Analysing aggregate, anonymised usage data to improve our website and workshop experience.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

04 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share your data only with trusted third-party services that help us operate GennUp, and only to the minimum extent necessary.

  • Razorpay — payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
  • Google (Gmail / Workspace) — email delivery and communication.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — community group messaging. Subject to Meta's privacy terms.
  • Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics) — anonymised website usage data only.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated commercial entities.

05 Payments & Razorpay

All payment processing is handled by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. GennUp does not store your card number, UPI ID, or banking credentials.

When you complete a transaction, Razorpay may collect and process your financial data under their own privacy policy, which you can review at razorpay.com/privacy.

06 WhatsApp & Communications

After registration you will receive an invitation to join a WhatsApp group relevant to your workshop. Participation in these groups is optional but strongly recommended to receive the session link and updates.

  • Your phone number will be visible to other group members unless you adjust your WhatsApp privacy settings.
  • GennUp moderates these groups but is not responsible for content shared by other participants.
  • You may leave the group at any time. Leaving does not affect your workshop access.

We may send you transactional WhatsApp messages (booking confirmation, reminders) if you provide your phone number during registration.

07 Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to provide basic functionality and to understand how visitors interact with our pages.

  • Essential cookies — required for the website and checkout flow to function correctly.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand page views and traffic sources in aggregate, anonymised form.

Our workshops are intended for individuals aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:

  • Access controls limiting who within GennUp can view personal data.
